Today Is…
Today is a day of change. It is the 5th of November. Today is great. The first president of the United States to be African American is Barack Obama.

Today is history!

Today is the day when all of us can celebrate Obama’s win. It is the day that racism stops and change starts. Today is the day Martin Luther King Jr’s dream came true. Today is the start of a new America and world. For new voters, they will remember voting in this “Race to 270.” Today is the day race does not matter.

Today is a new day!

Today shows us everyone is equal and should be treated equally. Today is an historic day for all Americans.Today is America’s greatest day.

Today is change!

Today is the new America.
Today is the day we all find a different person in all of us, when the hearts of many beat as one.

Today is the day I’ve been waiting for. I am ready for a change.

Yes, America, yes we can change.

Beginning.

I pledged to start a new blog when Barack Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States. Just 47 minutes ago, he was. With the great change Obama brings to our country, with the great hope he carries with him, I intend to do the same with this space, with writing, and with how I perceive the world.

This blog will be devoted to seeking out all the good.

There is no time like the present to change. And boy, does it feel good.

Sweet kisses for our next president
